a) mālaï aaraam chaahinchhā.              

I need rest.

मलार्इ आराम चाहिन्छ ।

b) tāpaïlaï khudraa païsaa chaahinchhā.     

I need change.

तपार्इलार्इ खुद्रा पैसा चाहिन्छ ।

c) biraami-laï doctor chaahinchhā.                

The patient needs a doctor.

बिरामीलार्इ डाक्टर चाहिन्छ ।

d) wāhalaï tāpaïko sāhāyog chahinchhā.     

He/She needs your help.

वहाँलार्इ तपार्इको सहयोग चाहिन्छ ।

e) bidhyaarthi-laï grihā-kaarya chaahinchhā.

Students need homework.

विधार्थीलार्इ गृहकार्य चाहिन्छ ।

f) haamilaï nepaali païsā chaahinchhā.        

We need Nepalese money.

हामीलार्इ नेपाली पैसा चाहिन्छ ।

g) bhoko maanchhe-laï khaanaa chaahinchhā.      

A hungry man needs to (must) eat.

भोको मान्छेलार्इ खाना चाहिन्छ ।

h) kukur-laï maasu chaahichhā.                    

The dog needs meat.

कुकुरलार्इ मासु चाहिन्छ ।

i) chhoraa-chhori-laï aamaa-buwaa chaahinchhā. 

Children need parents.

छोराछोरीलार्इ आमा बुबा चाहिन्छ ।
